Use of Photographs

This page sets out what we'd like both you and us to agree on regarding the use of your photographs. A photograph carries both the photographer's copyright and the portrait rights of the person in it. Since neither side can decide alone, we use photographs only by mutual agreement.

Delivered images

The number of images and file format are as described in the course you booked. You are free to use them to introduce yourself — for your profile photo, business cards, your own social media and materials, and so on.

Uses we ask you to discuss with us first

• Commercial uses such as advertising for products or services, transit advertising, or publication in media
• Transfer or sale to third parties, or provision as stock material
• Editing the photographs (cropping, color adjustment, compositing) permitted up to ◯◯

Depending on the purpose of the shoot, we may be able to widen the scope of use at no extra charge. Please consult us before booking.

When we feature photos as our work

We may feature photographs on our website, social media, exhibitions or photo books. We will always ask for your permission beforehand. If you prefer not to be featured, just let us know and we will not publish them at all. If you change your mind after the shoot, we will remove them on request.

Photos that include other people

When featuring photos taken with your family or friends, we obtain permission from everyone pictured.

Unauthorized reproduction

Unauthorized reproduction or use of the photographs on this site and our social media is prohibited. If you'd like to use them, please contact us.

Data storage

Shoot data is deleted progressively starting 30 days after delivery. If you need the files delivered again, please contact us within that period.
